The world's last flying Vulcan warplane, saved from the scrapyard by Mail on Sunday readers, is to play a major role in the Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

The delta-wing aircraft, which flew during the Cold War and was capable of carrying nuclear bombs, will pay tribute to the Monarch's 60 years on the Throne by flying for millions of people across the UK.
